    Everything tastes better wrapped in puff pastry! We make puff pastry dough by hand from scratch and then we roll it out and stuff it with the most delicious savoury fillings. Sophie Sucree is already famous for their spanakopita style spinach and “feta”puffs (link here) and now we are adding another delectible puff to the menu. Check out our must try fennel “sausage” & “mozza” puffs full of creamy cheesey plant-based “mozzarella” and succulent fennel “sausage” curls. It’s meaty, it’s cheesy, and it fits perfectly in your hand so you can eat it on the go as a quick snack. Try pairing it with a soup or salad (goes great with our slaw tbh!) for an easy lunch. Everything made in house. Served hot and crispy.

    Homey, inviting, old fashioned quebec yellow split pea soup with chunks of smoky “ham”. Tastes just like how grand-maman used to make except its all plant-based and she would totally approve 😉 This filling and nutritious hearty soup is a classic amoung many families, and each and every one has their own version of this soup. Our secret Sophie Sucree family recipe produces a soupe aux pois that is thick and creamy with chunks of smoky “ham”.

    Tomato soup is one of the most popular soups out there – its an absolute classic. In our version we slowly roast locally grown market fresh tomatoes in the oven, combine with a rich broth, and whip up into a silky sumptuous soup.     Our “tuna” salad is creamy and full of texture and crunch with smashed local chickpeas, chopped cubed celery, carrots, red onion, and fresh dill enveloped in our zippy mayo based sauce. Enjoy this generous salad on one of our fresh croissants as a sandwhich (link here) made to order. Or grab some “tuna” salad from our self serve fridge for later, as it makes an easy side, or use it to top your leafy green salad or make countless sandwiches at home. Our “tuna” salad not only makes the perfect side dish, but in fact it is a bright textural delight that can totally stand alone and be enjoyed as is for a casual lunch or a snack. This salad highlights the ever trendy Chickpea. Why? Because of how versatile they are! Chickpeas are the shining star in so many wonderful dishes including our salad as we use chickpeas to replace the tuna. Chickpeas are packed with protein and have a great texture making them an excellent and sustainable substitute, plus we prepare ours with nori which adds hints of the ocean for a more authentic flavour. Best enjoyed cold. Everything made in house.
